Hiwa Kai Black Hawaiian-Style Sea Salt is an exotic, all-natural sea salt made with activated charcoal from the shells of coconuts and pure, clean sea salt from the Pacific Ocean. Rich in salinity and jet-black in color, the crunchy grains are a dramatic and extrinsic way to bring life to your bath.
This revered and seductive salt is used for adding depth and complexity to spa rituals throughout the globe. Black Lava salt is infused with activated charcoal which, lending its stunning color and assisting the body in removing harmful impurities; it is exceptionally high in essential minerals aiding the body in maintaining its normal functions.
I've infused the salt crystals with vitamin E oil to help soften the skin, as well as a synergistic blend of essential oils designed to enhance a sense of happiness.

Due to the nature of the large crystal size, it is best to place the salts in the tub and allow hot water to run over the salts while the tub is filling. Stir the tub water to ensure the crystals have completely dissolved. Soak in water for a minimum of 20 minutes to reap the full benefits of the salts.
The amount of salt to add to each bath is determined by the level of therapeutic action you are looking to achieve. If you are in need of a deep detox, you could use the entire container! A standard bath only requires about 2 tablespoons.
If you would like to extend the number of baths you get from each jar, but still maximize the therapeutic effects offered of the salt, I suggest adding equal amounts of any table salt you have on hand to increase the osmotic exchange between the salt water and skin.
